Meet DR Brink
Dr. Matthew Brink is a highly specialized ophthalmologist with fellowship training in Glaucoma and Advanced Anterior Segment Surgery.
Originally from South Africa, Dr Brink moved to the USA in 2007 and was proud to become a US citizen in 2013. Dr Brink took pre-medical classes at The University of Pennsylvania, completed medical school at Drexel University in Philadelphia, and completed ophthalmology residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He completed his glaucoma fellowship under the world-renowned Dr. Ike Ahmed, ranked as the number one ophthalmologist globally in the 2024 Ophthalmology Power List. This exceptional training equips Dr. Brink to handle complex glaucoma and anterior segment pathologies with great expertise.
Dr. Brink is proficient in utilizing cutting-edge technologies for treating glaucoma, cataracts, lens-based pathologies, and refractive conditions.
